Delegates discuss progress with the live audit. |
|
Why An SGC Auditor Course? We think our 5 day Lead Environmental Auditor Course is the best on the market. Here are 4 reasons why:
|
Delegates at a recent course at Bagden Hall with Ted Rosser (middle). |
The course is fully compliant with all the requirements of IEMA Advanced EMS Auditor Course (UK) and has been updated to include ISO 14001:2004, ISO 19011:2002 and the latest regulations. During the course we also provide delegates with an understanding of sustainable development and its auditing context. We normally run a ‘live audit’ of a local industrial site during the course to give the delegates direct experience of a real audit. Delegates will be issued with a comprehensive environmental auditing manual which is ideal for future reference plus a selection of our checklists. |
Course Content The 5 day course includes:

Benefits of the Course Audits are essential to business assurance and are a key driver of business improvement and risk reduction. Environmental audits are essential tools for maintaining compliance with ever increasing regulations and conformity with environmental standards such as ISO 14001. But effective audits require competent and independent auditors. The latest version of ISO 14001 places much more emphasis on demonstrating auditor competence, objectivity and independence. A key feature of our course is the development of auditor skills and techniques through a range of practical exercises particularly our ‘live audit’. |
